I do recall hearing that he invented Philadelphia Brand Cream Cheese from his son's wife, but I saw something else that contradicted that info, saying Philadelphia Brand started in New York in the 1880s under a different company than Kraft. I suspect she may have meant he helped Kraft to acquire that brand and helped to promote it. She also said Dale Carnegie mentions him in one of his books. All the other info is from his Who's Who entry (executive at General Mills, Standard Brands, Chrysler - I think that was the auto company, founding Blue Moon Cheese, etc.) I am lucky to have learned some of his business sense and philosophy by spending some time with his son and grandsons, who had advice passed down to them through their parents.
