Wetzel, Agnes (Marriage - 3 July 1941)

Miss Agnes Wetzel, who has been nursing at Porter’s Hospital, Glenwood Springs, Col., and Richard Pilcher of Wheatland, Wyo., were united in marriage at Scottsbluff, Neb., on July 3.

Miss Wetzel grew to womanhood here. She was graduated from the Neillsville High School in 1930. Four years later she completed a course in nurses training in a hospital at Bismarck, N. D. Since then she had followed her profession, working in Eugene, Oregon, Wheatland, Wyo.; St. Louis, Mo.; and Glenwood Springs, Col.

Mr. Pilcher is a Civil Engineer, being employed at present on government projects. They will make their home at Wheatland.

Just prior to her marriage, Mrs. Pilcher was complimented at a picnic dinner at the residence of Mrs. Marie Strickland of Glenwood Springs, the dinner being served at the outdoor fireplace of Mrs. Strickland’s home. The group presented her with many pretty gifts for her apartment home.
