Salander, Sally A. (23 April 1930 - 30 Oct. 2005)

Sally A. Salander

Sally A. Salander, 75, of White Bear Lake, Minn., and formerly of Thorp and Stanley died Sunday, October 30, 2005, at her home.

She was born in Stanley, Wis., on April 23, 1930, the daughter of Harold and Frances (Christian) Shock. She graduated from Stanley High School and then attended UW-Eau Claire Teachers College. Sally married Leon G. Salander in Eau Claire on September 21, 1952. They lived 17 years in Thorp, and then lived 22 years in Roseville, Minn.

Sally is survived by her husband, Leon; son, Erik Salander of San Carlos, Calif.; daughter, Dana Morris; two grandchildren, John Morris and Sara (Robert) Perry; and great-grandson, Jermaine Perry all of Mahtomedi, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 3, 2005, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave., Eau Claire, with the Rev. Howard Fehr officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Eau Claire. Family and friends may call an hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.
