Stasek, Matilda (22 APR 1931)

A pretty wedding was solemnized Wednesday morning at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Stetsonville by Father Gleisner when Miss Matilda Stasek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Stasek of the town of Hoard (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mr. Charley Lapp, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lapp of the town of Mayville (Clark Co.) , took the solemn vows of holy wedlock and were pronounced man and wife.

The bridal pair were accompanied by Miss Helen Stasek, a sister of the bride, and Mr. Fakes, a cousin of the groom, and a number of close relatives and friends attended.

A sumptuous wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents which was attended by many of the relatives and friends.

The young couple have rented the Albert Lapp home farm which they will operate and Mr. Lapp and his family have moved onto another of his farms just south of the Cloverhill Cheese Factory.

We join with the many friends in extending congratulations to the newlyweds. May they live long and prosper.
