Droese, Rosana (Marriage - 6 Jul. 1946)

A pretty lawn wedding took place at Catawba, July 6, when Miss Rosana Droese, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Droese, Catawba, exchanged vows with Norman Kramer, son of Mrs. Anna Kramer, Unity. Mrs. Walter Droese, a sister-in-law of the bride, was organist and Mrs. Leonard Senger, a niece, sang "Because."

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white niron and lace gown, elbow length white gloves and a long tulle veil, and carried a bouquet of roses.

Ruth Rathke, of Milwaukee, a cousin of the bride, in a yellow chiffon frock, was maid of honor, while Bernice Kramer, Marshfield, the groom’s sister, in blue niron, served as bridesmaid. Their headdresses and bouquets were fashioned of yellow roses.

The groom’s attendants were Leonard Senger and George Droese, a brother of the bride.

Seventy-five guests attended the wedding. Those from away were Mrs. Anna Kramer and daughter Darlene, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Erickson and daughter Shirley, Unity; Mr. and Mrs. Charles ?, Auburndale; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Decker and daughters and Bernice Kramer, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Hanne, Abbotsford; Herman Slatkey, Mr. and Mrs. Art Rathke, Miss Ruth Rathke, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Wentie, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Senger, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Henry E?, Grafton; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Erickson, Klennon.

Mr. and Mrs. Kramer will reside at Unity where he is employed at the Harry Mandie Cheese Factory.

The Register joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
