Sharp. R. C. (5 July 1856 - 17 Feb. 1939)

R. C. Sharp, who lived in Humbird with his wife during the time of Rev. W. J. Eberly’s pastorate of the F. M. Church, died at his home in Richland Center, Feb. 17, at the age of 82 years and 7 months. Services were held at the F. M. Church at Richland Center, Rev. S. F .Clarkson, district elder, officiating. Burial was at Platteville.

Mr. Sharp was born in Springville, Iowa, July 5, 1856, and was married at Boone, Iowa, June 19, 1881. Moved to northern Wisconsin in the spring of 1918, and had made his home in Richland Center since the fall of 1936. Mr. Sharp was a member of the Free Methodist church over sixty years.

His wife, Mrs. Amy Sharp, two daughters, Mrs. C. F. Klein, La Farge, and Mrs. W. J. Eberly, Livingston; two sons, Thomas P., of Huron, S. Dak., and Robert K., of Milwaukee; twenty-eight grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren; and one sisters, Mrs. R. N. Williams, of Watford City, N. D. survive.

One son, Harold S., was killed in action in France, July 28, `1918, and another son, Myron N., died in Milwaukee ten years ago.
