Commercial Club Notice - Members are requested to meet at the barber shop this Thursday evening at 8:00 to hear the financial report for the season.
Melvin Putman came home last Thursday night from three years work near Detroit with an engineering department.
Mrs. S. G. Schwarz expects to leave this Thursday evening for Chicago, to make a visit with their son Robert and family.
W. M. Rosolack was at the Falls first of the week repairing some damage a fire had caused in R. J. Zerbel’s gas station.
Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Ecke were in Milwaukee the fore part of the week attending the state convention of the Wisconsin Canners association.
Mrs. Bertha Stallard went to Eau Tuesday to spend a few days at the homes of her sons.
Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Short called at the Howard Bigelow home in Warrens last Sunday, and also drove out to the cranberry marsh near Mather, which his brother-in-law R. R. Pease had purchased.
A note from Mrs. G. E. Klak, formerly Ethel Ripplinger, states that they are now located at 501 E. Ocean View Ave., Norfolk, Va., where they expect to be until next May. Mr. Klak is lieutenant in the reserve, and is called to active service in the navy.
