Geiger, Lucy (18 APR 1933)

A beautiful wedding took place Tuesday morning at 8:30 at St. Louis Catholic Church when Miss Lucy Geiger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Geiger, of Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.), was united in marriage to Victor Carpenter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Carpenter of Marshfield. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Paul Pitzenberger.

The bride wore a white satin floor length gown with a cap style veil and carried a prayer book. Her bridesmaid, Miss Agnes Geiger, wore a pink silk crepe formal gown, bandeau of rhinestones, and tan slippers. The groom and his attendant, Frank Brodhagen of Marshfield, wore the customary dark suits.

Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride’s parents, with covers laid for 30. Only the immediate family and bridal party attended.

The happy couple visited with the Geigers until the following day when they drove to Marshfield, where they will make their future home.

The many friends of both the bride and groom join us in wishing them many years of happiness and prosperity in their journey through life.
