Hefty, Bertha (Marriage - 16 March 1935)

Miss Bertha Hefty, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Hefty of the town of Cleveland, became the bride of Edwin Holman son of Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Holman, also of the town of Cleveland.

The ceremony took place at the Lutheran parsonage at Strum, Wisconsin, March 16, 1935, Rev. N. E. Halvorson officiating.

They were attended by Miss Lucille Holman, sister of the groom, and Fred Hefty, brother of the bride.

The bride was attired in light blue crepe, carrying a bouquet of sweet peas and roses. The bridesmaid was dressed in rose and carried a bouquet of daffodils. The groom and his attendant wore oxford gray.

After the ceremony a bounteous dinner was served to immediate relatives at the home of the bride’s parents.
