Hahn, Dora (7 Dec. 1856 - 22 June 1936)

Dora Schultz was born in Gadelbusch, Germany, on Dec. 7, 1856. At the age of ten years she came with her parents to this country, the family settling in Waukesha County, Wisconsin, where she grew to young womanhood. In the year 1880, she was united in marriage to Mr. Julius C. Hahn, and that same year they settled on a farm between Humbird and Fairchild. To Mr. and Mrs. Hahn were born three children, the youngest William C., passing away on his mother’s birthday, Dec. 7, 1912. Death came without warning to Mr. Hahn on Sept. 25, 1925. Mrs. Hahn is survived by one son, Albert F. Hahn, and one daughter, Mrs. Martha Simons, both residing in Humbird. Three grandchildren also survive.

Mrs. Hahn was the last member of her family, the brothers and sisters all preceding her in death. Her passing is mourned by a number of nieces and nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, June 24, at the Reformed Church, and were attended by many neighbors and friends. The burial sermon was delivered by Rev. V. D. Weidler. Burial was in Mentor Cemetery.
