Seefeld, Elsie (17 Jul. 1901 - 25 May 1970)

Spencer, Wis. - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, North Spencer, for Mrs. Albert Seefeld, 68, of route 1, Spencer, who died shortly after admission Monday at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield. Death was due to a heart condition.

The Rev. David Ault, pastor, will officiate and burial will be made in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Jasperson Funeral Home until noon Wednesday, and then at the church.

The former Elsie Hendrickson was born July 17, 1901, in the town of Unity, where she received her education. Her marriage to Albert Seefeld took place at St. John’s parsonage at North Spencer on Dec. 12, 1917. The couple celebrated their 50th anniversary in 1967, and had made their home in Spencer since their marriage.

She was a member of St. John’s Church and the Ladies Aid.

Survivors include her husband, a son, Virgil, Spencer; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Fred Seefeld, Spencer; and Mrs. Arthur Schmidt, Colby.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, four brothers and two half-brothers.
