Hodorowski, Helen (5 AUG 1933)

A pretty wedding was solemnized at St. Hedwig’s Church Saturday morning, August 5th, 1933, at nine o’clock, when Miss Helen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hodorowski, became the bride of William Lazewski, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Lazewski of Milwaukee.

The bride wore a beautiful satin gown with a lace bodice and a long training veil was held in place by orange blossoms in cap effect style. She carried a large bouquet of white roses. The bridesmaids, Miss Stella Musila, Miss Rose Hodorowski and Miss Josephine Kolinski, wore rainbow colored dresses in pink, blue and yellow, and carried bouquets of roses and headbands to match. Miss Pauline Hodorowski, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and was dressed in green and carried a bouquet of tea roses. The groom was attended by his brother Charles Lazewski, as best man, and two ushers, Joe Zelinski and John Hodorowski.

Shortly after the ceremony about fifty nearest friends and relatives enjoyed a reception at the home of the bride’s parents in the town of Withee. The rooms were decorated in white, pink and blue streamers, also bouquets of mixed flowers.

After a short honeymoon the young couple will make their home in Milwaukee and their wide circle of friends wish them much success in their wedded life.
