Mrs. Bernice Kinast, wife of Felix Kinast of this village (Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.), died at the hospital at Stanley on Friday evening, Sept. 1st, 1933 where she had undergone a caesarian operation. The child, a boy, is alive. Deceased, Bernice Strzok, was born here on May 29, 1904 and was united in marriage to Felix Kinast on May 13, 1924. She leaves to mourn, her husband, three daughters and one son, and her mother, Mrs. Mary Strzok of the town of Withee, and the following sisters and brothers: Julia, Mrs. Chas. Sapa, Milwaukee; Kate, Mrs. Peter Piwoni, Thorp; Anna Panek, Thorp; Mike, Gilman; Joseph, Thorp; Nick, Gilman; Charles, Detroit; Peter, Minneapolis; Stanley, Detroit.
Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig’s Church on Tuesday morning, Sept. 5th, Father F. A. Kulig officiating.
