Anderegg, Susie Hildegarde (June 11, 1906 - April 5, 2007)

Susie H. Anderegg, age 100, died at the Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville on April 5, 2007. She was a resident of the Memorial Nursing Home for the past six years.

Susie Hildegarde Krasselt was born June 11, 1906 in Kankakee, IL, the daughter of Ernst and Martha (Siegert) Krasselt. She worked at Todd School, a private boy’s school at Woodstock, IL before her marriage to Edwin Anderegg on June 24, 1925 at Salem Lutheran Church, Veefkind (Rural Spencer). Susie and Edwin farmed south of Loyal in York Township. Susie was a full time mother and housewife. She also worked 14 years at the Neillsville Memorial Home. Edwin died on June 28, 1969. Susie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid. She was an excellent cook and homemaker and loved traveling and reading. Her church was very important to her.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Marvin (Dorothy) Anderegg, of Loyal; Marlene (Gary) Kuechenmeister, of Neillsville; her grandchildren, Lee Kuechenmeister, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Monty (Ann) Kuechenmeister, of Chippewa Falls; Clay Anderegg, of Loyal, Fay Newton, of West Palm Beach, FL; Carol (Dale) Strigel, of West Palm Beach; Cheryl Anderegg, of Loyal; and Lois Anderegg of West Palm Beach; one great-grandson, Adam Newton, of West Palm Beach; and two step grandchildren, Melissa and Stephanie Muneke, of Chippewa Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, George Krasselt, Vera Kissinger, Elsie Luchterhand, Emma Engstrom, Siegert Krasselt and Dorothy Krasselt in infancy.

Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 11 a.m. Reverend Daniel Zimmerman will officiate. Burial will be in the Loyal Lutheran Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Clay Anderegg, Monty Kuechenmeister, Bob Anderegg, Dale Krasselt, Lee Kuechenmeister, and Wilmer Griepentrog.

Visitation will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal on Wednesday from 9:30 to 11 a.m.

Cuddie Funeral Home of Loyal is assisting the family with arrangements.
