David A. Woellner

WITHEE -- David A. Woellner 68, of the town of Maplehurst, Withee, Taylor County, died Friday, April 27, 2007, at his home.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at Maurina Funeral Home, Owen, Wis.

Maurina/Community Funeral Home is assisting the family.

David was born March 13, 1939, in Marshfield to William and Catherine (Riehle) Woellner. David and Diana Rodman were married June 10, 1959, and later divorced. He then married Eleanor Lawver and they were later divorced. David worked as a cheesemaker for the Chili Cheese factory, Stetsonville Cheese factory and retired from Marathon Cheese.

David is survived by his children, Donna Woellner of Owen, Danny Woellner of Venice, Fla., Dean (Candae) Woellner of Elkhorn and Dale (Margie) Woellner of Withee; his stepchildren, Michelle "Shelly" (Scott) Babcock, David Smetek, and Christine Szaflarski; one brother, Victor (Laura) Woellner of Athens; two sisters, Florance (Donnie) Punke of Athens and Dorothy McKinley; 17 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
