Tyler, Annette (22 June 1856 - 7 Jan. 1883)

Tyler - In the town of Pine Valley, on Sunday January 7, 1883, Mrs. Annette Tyler, wife of Wm. H. Tyler, aged 26 years, 6 months and 15 days.

The deceased was a relative of the late Anson Green, by whom she and her husband were induced to bring their children to Clark County and found what they fondly hope would be their permanent home. But, alas for the enduring character of earthly plans and hopes; their dream is over, the family chain is sundered, and the most precious link is gone. The bereaved husband is left with five tendered little ones in the desolate home. The oldest child is but seven years of ago, while the youngest was born only two weeks ago. They came from the town of Olive, Ulster County, N. Y., and had been settled among us but two years. Though the family had the heartfelt sympathy of the entire neighborhood, the dying woman longed for her older friends and her early home. Her longings will be satisfied in that better home whither we are all following her.

*ANSON GREEN (1816 - 1882) Anson Green died in July, 1882. He was born Dec. 22, 1816 and married the former Mary E. Dean of Clark County.

Anson Dewey, the son of Cyrus W. Dewey and Emma Theresa Tyler, was born Nov. 17, 1880, in Clark Co and died April 14, while a patient at Presbyterian hospital in Chicago, following an illness of two months.

Annette's husband (William H.) was the son  of Nelson and Selina (Dean) Tyler
