Stanley J. Volovsek (Dec 11, 1920 - May 15, 2007)

WILLARD -- Stanley John Volovsek, 86, of Willard, died Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen, Wis.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Cuddie Funeral Home, Greenwood, with a 7 p.m. rosary service. Visitation also will be from 10 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the church.

Stanley was born Dec. 11, 1920, in Genesee Depot, to Frank and Anna (Flis) Volovsek. He was united in marriage to Olga Volarich on June 10, 1944, at Holy Family Catholic Church. They divorced in 1976. He was married to Mary Hribar-Crotzer on Sept. 16, 1977. She died Jan. 27, 1995. Stanley was married to Darlene (Cada) Prokopec on Dec. 13, 1997.

After farming for a time, Stanley went into business for himself, starting Stanley's Cabinet Shop.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene of Clarkson, Neb.; three children, LaVern (Sharon) Volovsek of Rice Lake, Jack (Sue) Volovsek of Wausau, and Peggy (Ed) Yurkovich of Willard; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margie Jeras of Apache Junction, Ariz., and Betty Fraid of West Allis; two brothers, Tony Volovsek of Kamiah, Idaho, and John Volovsek of Eagle Pass, Texas; one brother-in-law, Vitko Staut of Greenwood; two sisters-in-law, Bernice Volovsek of Loyal and Virginia Volovsek of Greenwood; four step-children, 11 step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren.
