Blachowiak, Margaret (1873 - 20 MAY 1936)

Mrs. Margaret Wolski Blachowiak died at her home in the town of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) on May 20th, 1936, of heart trouble, aged 63 years. Deceased was born in Germany in 1873 and came to this country in 1888. She was united in marriage to Casimer Blachowiak in 1890 at Chicago, Ill. The couple came to Thorp in 1920 and settled on a farm neartheast of the village, which has since been her home.

Other surviving relatives besides her husband are: five brothers, John, Andrew, Philip and Michael Wolski of Chicago, and Leon Wolski of St. Pierre, Ind., two sisters, Mrs. Ksawera Damski of Thorp and Mrs. Michaliva Piotrowski of Chicago, one son, John of Chicago, and two daughters, Mrs. Julia Dunae and Mrs. Anna Saronski of Chicago.

The body was shipped to Chicago on Friday and funeral services were held at All Saints Church on Monday morning, the bishop Grochowski officiating.

My father was Frank - Frank's uncle was Cashmire - Margart his aunt - we lived in Beaver Wis. Elmer my brother is the family history guy - he has been to Salt Lake checking out family back ground - drop me a line.  Jim

Margaret Blachowiak is my great grandmother. I am very interested in our family tree. I have visited there grave site. I live in Indiana. I am rambling here because I am surprised to find this site on the internet. I have just stepped up to high speed internet. Please contact me. I would love to talk to you.
