Capt. Steiger Honored
The Commanding Officer, Naval and Marine Corps operational Support Center, Milwaukee, has announced that Captain Keith E. Steiger, U.S. Navy, has been awarded the Meritorious Service Medal. The award was presented to Capt. Steiger in Milwaukee on April 27th, in recognition of his retirement as the National Executive Director for the Naval Reserve officer Leadership program. Previous award ceremonies recognized his 29 years of active and reserve duties to the U.S. Navy.
Steiger was a 1972 graduate of Neillsville High School and attended UW-Eau Claire before being commissioned in the Navy in 1977. He is the son of Dorothy and the late Ertz Steiger, of Neillsville, Wis. He and his wife, Betty, live in Howards Grove, Wis. with their daughter Katie, and sons Ben and Matt. He is currently employed as the plant engineer for the Sheboygan Paint Company.
