Sterzinger, Elizabeth (Marriage - 1 Sept. 1931)

A very pretty wedding was solemnized at the St. Mary’s Catholic church Tuesday morning, Rev. H. Lachnit officiating, when Miss Elizabeth Sterzinger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sterzinger, became the bride of Mr. Bernard Dahlke. Miss Blandina Dahlke, sister of the groom, acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Rudolph Sterzinger, the bride’s brother.

The bride was attired in a beautiful dress of white satin trimmed with lace, and wore a long silk tulle veil arranged in a cap effect and carried a bridal bouquet of white roses and gladioli. The bridesmaid wore a pretty gown of pink satin and carried a bouquet of pink roses and gladioli.

A wedding reception was given at the home of the bride’s parents which was nicely decorated in pink and white for the occasion. In the evening, a free wedding dance was given at Wiedenhoeft’s pavilion which was largely attended by friends and relatives.

After a wedding trip to the Wisconsin Dells and the southern part of the state, the newlyweds will be at home at Edgar after September 10th.

The bride has been employed at the A. F. Zillmer store for the past six and one-half years and the groom conducts a filling station and grocery store twelve miles east of Colby on county trunk "N."

The Phonograph joins their many friends in extending congratulations and best wishes.
