Denzine, Mabel (30 Oct. 1923 - 12 June 2007)

Mabel Denzine, 83, Abbotsford, Wisconsin died Tuesday, June 12th, 2007 at St. Claire’s Hospital, Weston.

Funeral services were held June 16th, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Milan. Burial was in Bethlehem Lutheran Church Cemetery. The Reverend Matthew Christians presided. Pallbearers were Bruce and Brian Olson, Curt, Kevin and Shawn Denzine and Lance Broeker.

Mabel was born Oct 30, 1923, in Lena. She graduated from Oconto Falls High School.

She and Donald Denzine were married April 19th, 1940. Donald preceded her in death on April 12, 1996. Mabel and Donald farmed in the Town of Holton.

Mabel served on the Dor-Abby School Board. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, dart ball and ballgames.

She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, its Ladies Aid and served as president for a number of years. Mabel was also Sunday School Superintendent.

Mabel is survived by her children, Robert (Laura) Denzine, Milan and Karen (Ronald) Olson, Wausau; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lee (Norma) Johnson, Suring, Alfred (Dorathea) Johnson, Gillett and one sister, Gladys Gilligan, Upper Michigan.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald, one brother and three sisters.
