Kimball, Maggie #2 (1867 - 25 DEC 1898)

News was received Monday from Minneapolis of the death there of Mrs. Ed Kimball, formerly Maggie Bruley of this city (Neillsville, Clark Co., Wis.), and Ad. Kimball, in response to a telegram, went to St. Paul, returning Wednesday. Ed will be here today, on the way home from his sad errand to Melrose, and his sister, Miss Emma Kimball, will go with him to St. Paul to keep house for him and care for the two children.

The sympathy of the many friends here goes out to the husband and motherless children.

The St. Paul Dispatch of Tuesday contained the following notice:

"Mrs. E.C. Kimball, wife of a well known conductor for the Omaha road, died at the family residence 694 York St., last evening. She was sick but a few days. The remains will be taken to Melrose, Wis., for burial, starting over the Omaha at 8:10 tomorrow morning. Mr. Kimball is a member of the St. Paul Division N. 40 Order of Railway Conductors, and this organization today present a floral emblem, and the members will accompany the remains to the depot."
