Kauffman, Neola (23 Apr. 1908 - 16 Mar. 1972)

Spencer - Services have been set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church here, for Mrs. Donald (Neola) Kauffman, 63, of Spencer, who died Thursday morning at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, of an apparent heart attack suffered earlier that day.

The Rev. William Ruhbusch, pastor, will officiate and burial will be made in Trinity Lutheran cemetery, Unity.

Visitations may be made at the Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby, beginning today. A prayer service will be held there at 9 p.m. today.

The former Neola Nickel was born April 23, 1908, in the town of Brighton, Marathon County. She was married June 12, 1930, to Fred Loughead, who preceded her in death in 1960. Her second marriage took place May 29, 1965, to Donald Kauffman, who survives her.

She taught school for many years and resided in the Unity area until 1968 when she moved to Spencer.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Harold Schade, Milwaukee; and Mrs. Bernice Reckner, Marshfield; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Nickel, Unity.
