Hanson, Matthias (1851 - 20 APR 1934)

Matthias Hanson, 83, died at his home east of Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), last Friday morning from hardening of the arteries. Funeral services were held at the Curtiss Norwegian Church Monday afternoon, Rev. W.L. Anderson officiating.

Mrs. Hanson preceded her husband in death six years ago.

Mr. Hanson was born in Norway in 1851 and resided near Curtiss for many years. Survivors are his son, Ole, on the home farm, and two daughters, Mrs. Helva Kluve of Curtiss and Mrs. Herman Samenn of Bruce, and five grandchildren.
