Schumacher, Genevieve (Marriage - 18 June 1934)

Miss Genevieve Schumacher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Schumacher, and Mr. Archie Leichtnam of Abbotsford, were married Monday, June 18th, at St. Louis Catholic church at Dorchester at 8:30 A.M., Rev. N. Kreibich reading the marriage ceremony. Josephine and Margaret Schumacher acted as bridesmaids and the groom was attended by Myron Decker and Leonard LaFontaine.

The bride was attired in a dress of white satin and lace and her bouquet consisted of roses. The bridesmaids wore dresses of blue and pink respectively with white accessories and their corsage bouquet consisted of tea roses.

A wedding reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, the home being nicely decorated with white, pink and blue crepe paper for the occasion.

The newlyweds will be at home at Abbotsford after July 1st where the groom is employed as a truck driver for the Bootzin Co.
