Ewert, Emma Pauline #2 (9 Sept. 1881 - 8 Sept. 1956)

Unity, Wis. - The Rev. Claude Vander Stoep officiated at funeral rites for Mrs. Emma Ewert Tuesday afternoon at Trinity Lutheran Church here. The church choir, accompanied by Mrs. Henry Binning at the organ, sang "Safe in the Arms of Jesus" and "Face to Face."

Internment took place in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Elmer Carlson, Frank Meyer, Fred Loughead, William Siegrist, Gust Carlson and Leonard Nickel; and flowers were in charge of Dora Ewert, Mrs. Donald Korntved, Mrs. Frank Meyer, Mrs. Elmer Carlson, Mrs. Martin Evenson and Mrs. Fred Loughead.

Mrs. Ewert, who was 74 years old, died Saturday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, following a heart attack.

Relatives coming from out of town for the funeral were: Mrs. Hulda Keith, Dayton, Ohio; Alvina Wagner, St. Paul; Mrs. Joseph Breuer, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Peters, Mishicot; Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Kolstad, Arpin; Lincoln Schoolman and Marlene, Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Ewert, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Willian Abel and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Helmke, Park Falls. Many friends from Unity, Riplinger, Colby and Abbotsford also were present.
