Zulke, Arline Marie (Marriage - 22 Sept. 1934)

A charming wedding took place at St. Paul’s Lutheran parsonage at Green Grove Saturday, September 22, 1934, at three o’clock in the afternoon, Rev. M. C. Goetsch officiating, when Miss Arline Marie Zulke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto E. Zulke, became the bride of Mr. Walter Glenzer, son of Mrs. Emma Glenzer. Miss Lorraine Zulke, a sister of the bride, acted as maid of honor and the groom was attended by his brother, Roland Glenzer.

The bride was attired in a beautiful gown of green crepe with brown accessories and her shoulder bouquet consisted of roses, sweet peas and snapdragons. The maid of honor wore a dress of brown crepe with brown accessories and her bouquet consisted of baby breath, snapdragons and roses.

A wedding reception was given at the home of the bride’s parents, the home being nicely decorated in pink, green and white and garden flowers for the occasion. Covers were laid for forty guests. In the evening, a wedding dance was given at Reel’s pavilion which was largely attended by friends and relatives.

The newlyweds will be at home immediately at the home of the groom’s mother for the present.

The out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Westfall and family of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Glenzer and family of Owen, Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Hyer and son, Jimmie, of Wausau, Mrs. Bertha Eschwig of Seattle, Wash., and Miss Ida Gayken and Lester Bowen of Owen, Wis.
