Brotherton, Minor (11 Jan. 1811 - 1 Nov. 1887)
Brotherton - At his residence in the town of Hull, on Tuesday, Nov. 1st, of old age, Minor Brotheron, in the 77th year of his age.
Minor Brotherton was born in the state of New York, on the 11th day of January, 1811. He settled in Wisconsin, at Black River Falls, in 1869, and in 1872 came with his family to the town of Hull, where he has since made it his home. Mr. Brotherton was a quiet, unassuming and industrious man, honest and upright in every particular, well like by all with whom he became acquainted.
He leaves to mourn his loss, a wife, two sons, - R. W., who resides at the homestead and A. O. Brotherton, of Walla Walla, W. Ty., and three daughters - Mrs. M. L. Williams, of Chicago, Mrs. Fred Reitz, and Miss Ellinor Brotherton, of Neillsville, Wis. - Colby Phonograph.
