Married, July 21, at the Emanuel Lutheran church, Dubuque, Iowa, the pastor, Rev. Leyer performing the ceremony, LaVern Woodkey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Woodkey, to Miss Lillian Oelriech, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Oelriech. The bride was reared and educated in this community, graduating from the Spencer high school in the class of’33 and the Marathon County Normal in ’34. The future plans of these young people have not yet been accomplished.
A shower was given the young couple at his home Friday Night.
