Nikloay, Helen (Marriage - 12 Nov. 1935)

A pretty wedding took place at the St. Bernard’s Catholic church at Abbotsford Tuesday, Nov. 12th, at 7:30 A.M., Rev. J. Nocak officiating, when Miss Helen Nikolay, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Nikolay, became the bride of Mr. Royal Archambo, son of Mr. and Mrs. Xavier Archambo. Miss Apollonia Oppman, cousin of the bride, acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by his brother, Alfred Niklolay. The wedding march was played by Mrs. C. T. Dolan.

The bride was attired in a beautiful dress of tuscan wine transparent velvet of floor length and hat of gold. Her bouquet consisted of yellow chrysanthemums. The bridesmaid wore a floor length dress of squadron blue transparent velvet with hat of silver and her bouquet consisted of white pampons and chrysanthemums.

A wedding reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, the home being nicely decorated with bitter sweets for the occasion. The newlyweds will make their home on the Max Pappenfus fox ranch where the groom is employed.

The bride is a graduate of the Abbotsford, Wis. High school, and, for the past year, had been employed by the Krepsky Chevrolet Company at Abbotsford as bookkeeper.
