Prehn, Diane Margaret (Marriage - 29 Aug. 1963)

A marriage ceremony was solemnized Thursday afternoon, Aug. 29, at 2:30 o’clock in Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer, where vows were exchanged by Miss Diane Prehn, 515 E. Clark St., Spencer, and Gerald David Rinehart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rinehart, route 1, Owen, Wis. The Rev. W. R. Krueger was the officiating clergyman.

The bride wore a dress of mint green embossed taffeta fashioned with fitted bodice and full-pleated street-length skirt. Her accessories were white and her flowers were a white orchid surrounded by yellow roses and lily of the valley with streamers of yellow rosebuds.

Miss Carole Marten, Spencer, the maid of honor, had a dress of beige embossed taffeta fashioned similarly to that of the bride’s. She had white and green carnations.

A supper for the bridal party, parents and grandparents was served at Paris Avenue Night Club, route 3, Stratford. The reception and wedding dance are planned for tonight (Aug. 31) at the Spencer Municipal Hall. Guests are scheduled to attend from Milwaukee, Ladysmith, Tripoli, Owen, Loyal, Athens, Dorchester, Abbotsford, Unity, Colby, Edgar, Stratford, Mosinee, Marathon, Marshfield and Spencer.

The new Mrs. Rinehart, a 1962 graduate of Spencer High School has been employed as a receptionist for Pathfinder Mobile Homes, Spencer. Her husband, who was graduated from Loyal High School in 1960, is engaged in farming on his own farm located on route 1, Owen, Wis.

The newlyweds honeymooned in northern Wisconsin after the Thursday nuptials.
