Kauffman, Fred (12 Apr. 1909 - 17 Feb. 1970)

Unity, Wis. - Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. today (Monday) at Trinity Lutheran Church for Fred Kauffman, 60, of Unity, who died early Tuesday morning. The Rev. Robert Sutherland, pastor, officiated and burial was made in the church cemetery.

Mr. Kauffman was born April 12, 1909, at Withee, and was married at Medford Aug. 25, 1934, to Anna Tischendorf, who preceded him in death in December of 1969.

He had lived in Abbotsford until 1945 and then farmed in the town of Green Grove. He had lived at Unity since 1947.

Survivors include a son, Robert Kauffman, Unity; a daughter, Mrs. Fred Kaletka, Marshfield; a grandchild; two brothers, Louis Kauffman, Milwaukee; Donald Kauffman, Spencer, and two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Fleischman, Abbotsford, and Mrs. Gerge Gurney, Neillsville, Wis.
