Unity, Wis. - Services for Merlin Elroy Justman, 75, Spencer, who died at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday at his home, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Unity.
The Rev. Brian A. Jaye will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dean, Clifford, Paul and Guy Habeck, John Justman and the Rev. James Justman.
Visitation will be at Rux Funeral Home, Spencer, after 5 p.m. today.
He was born June 13, 1916, in the town of Unity, Clark County, to Royal and Emma (Johnson) Justman. He attended Maplewood School, Riplinger School and Unity, Wis. High School. He married Delores Habeck March 30, 1940, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, North Spencer.
He operated a farm in the town of Unity from 1943-81. He was a former town of Unity supervisor and assessor.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a former member of the church board and the Cemetery Association. He was also a member of the Clark County Historical Society, a 4-H dairy leader, and a former Maplewood School Board member.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Alan of Rockford, Ill., and Steve of Unity; one daughter, Kathie Siikarla of Eagle River, Alaska; and seven grandchildren.
He was predeceased by one son, Dennis, and two brothers.
