Behrens, Bernice (Marriage - 27 Sept. 1939)

Bernice Behrens of Marshfield, Wis., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Behrens of Colby, Wis., and Milan Knorr of Marshfield, Wis., son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Knorr of Marshfield, were married on Wednesday, Sept. 27th, at 2:30 P.M. at the Nasonville Lutheran church, Rev. E. A. Deimer reading the marriage ceremony. Mrs. Clifford Liebelt, the bride’s sister, and Violet Steinert acted as bridesmaids and the groom was attended by Clifford Liebelt and Delmore Knorr, brother of the groom.

The bride was attired in a charming gown of white brocaded chiffon velvet and her shower bouquet consisted of roses and sweet peas. Mrs. Liebelt wore a dress of moiré pale blue taffeta and her shoulder corsage consisted of mixed flowers. Miss Steinert wore a dress of rose taffeta and her shoulder corsage also consisted of mixed flowers.

A reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Liebelt, the home being nicely decorated with baskets of fall flowers.

After October 1, the young couple will be at home at 907 S. Maple St., Marshfield, Wis., where the groom is employed by Blum Bros.
