Firnstahl, Leo S. (10 Aug. 1904 - 15 Oct. 1939)

Leo S. Firnstahl, formerly of Colby, died Sunday morning shortly after nine o’clock at his home in St. Paul, Minn., at the age of 35 years, arsenic poisoning being the cause of his death. The body was brought to Colby and laid in state at the Lulloff Funeral Home. Funeral services were held this Thursday morning, Rev. L. J. Lang officiating, and internment was made in the Colby cemetery.

The deceased was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Firnstahl and was born in Colby August 10th, 1904. He was married about ten years ago to Miss Virginia Durland, who, with ? all daughter, Nancy Ann, age ? years, survive.

Also surviving are his mother living ? the Firnstahl farm near ?. ? One sister, Miss Helen Firnstahl of Wisconsin Rapids, four brothers, Dr. F. F. Firnstahl of Wisconsin Rapids, Richard Firnstahl of Oshkosh, Alphons Firnstahl of Loyal, ?rence Firnstahl of Loyal, and two half-sisters, Rose Firnstahl of ? and Mrs. W. A. Wendt of ? Ill.
