Gosse, Elsie P. (21 Sept. 1946 - 14 Aug. 2005)

Elsie P. Gosse, 85, of Loveland died Aug. 14, 2005, at McKee Medical Center Hospice Care Center.

She was born June 28, 1920, in Withee, Wis., to Edward Petke and Emilie Netzel. She married Harold W. Gosse Sept. 21, 1946, in St. Louis, Mo.

The couple owned and operated an auto repair shop. They moved to Loveland June 1, 1981, from Golden.

Mrs. Gosse was a member of the Republican Party. She was a member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fort Collins. She enjoyed reading and history. She enjoyed helping others.

She is survived by a son, Harold E. Gosse and wife Elizabeth of Golden; daughters R. Ann Shull and Lynne Kruback and husband Rand, all of Loveland; grandsons Matthew Kruback of Tempe, Ariz., and Nathan Kruback of Loveland; granddaughter Jeni Bixler and husband Brett of Baltimore, Md.; and sisters Gerty Rohland and Ruth Jankee and husband Art, all of Withee, Wis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. Gosse, on Oct. 29, 1996; brothers Fred Petke, Walter Petke, Otto Petke, Ray Petke, Arthur Petke and Theodore Petke; and sisters Dorothy Petke and Otilia Knoppel.

Cremation has been conducted. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Revs. Joel Spaude and Steve Bauer officiating.

Burial will be at Loveland Burial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church or Hospice of Larimer County in care of Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home, 1102 N. Lincoln Ave., Loveland, 80537.
