Kadonsky, Irene (Marriage - 27 Apr. 1940)

Miss Irene Kadonsky, daughter of Frank Kadonsky of Abbotsford, Wis., was married to Anthony Sara of Milwaukee, son of John Sara, at a nuptial service performed Saturday, April 27, at 8:00 o’clock in St. Peter and Paul Catholic church before an altar banked with white calla lilies.

Miss Kadonsky was attired in a navy blue suit with accessories to match and she carried a bouquet of sweet peas and orchids. Miss Helen Sara, aunt of the groom, was maid of honor, and Joe Sara, brother of the groom, was best man.

Following the service a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the groom’s parents and a 5 o’clock dinner was served at the Shorecrest Hotel. Out of town guests attending were Frank Kadonsky and sons, Francis, and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Peterson, Abbotsford, Wis. They returned to their homes Sunday night.

Mrs. Sara was graduated from Abbotsford, Wis. High school in 1937 and Miss Brown’s Business College. She is employed as a secretary by the Credit Bonding Company.

Mr. and Mrs. Sara are on a wedding trip to Chicago and on their return to Milwaukee will be at home to friends at 1444 Aster street.

This is the Kadonsky name that my Grandfather Donald Stoughton from Athens, WI. was related too..........
