Schultz, Dorothy (Marriage - 25 Sept. 1940)

Miss Dorothy Schultz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Schultz of Colby, Wisconsin, and Mr. Norman E. Winkler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Winkler of Unity, were united in marriage at St. Mary’s parsonage Wednesday, September 25th, at 10 A.M., Rev. L. J. Lang performing the ceremony. Mrs. Donald Schultz, sister in law of the bride, and Miss Emily Winkler, sister of the groom, were the bridesmaids and the groom was attended by Mr. Donald Schultz and Mr. Milton Wolfe.

The bride was attired in a becoming garnet wool costume suit, soldier blue, velvet turban and black accessories. Her shoulder bouquet consisted of a rose, and white mixed flowers. Mrs. Donald Schultz wore a dark blue suit with black accessories and her shoulder bouquet consisted of mixed flowers. Miss Winkler wore a green costume suit, brown accessories and her shoulder bouquet also consisted of mixed flowers.

A reception was given at the home of the bride’s parents for the immediate families after which the newlyweds left on a wedding trip through the southern part of the state.

The couple will be at home after October 1st with the groom’s parents at Unity where the groom is employed by his father.
