Mrs. Ed. Krause will be hostess to the Ladies’ Aid of the Reformed and Evangelical church on Wednesday, October 2nd.

Wm. Zuelke left on Monday for Madison to resume his studies in the school of Pharmacy University of Wisconsin.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Koart and son of San Gabriel, Calif., who are visiting the Tonn families, spent the week-end with the latter’s sister and brother in law, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Nissen, at Glidden.

Wm. Klessig, Ray Klessig, Franklin Kraut and Norbert Laabs spent the week-end fishing in the Flambeau area.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Peterson entertained a party of neighbors on Sunday evening to celebrate the former’s birthday anniversary.

Ethel Erickson of Eau Claire, Wisconsin spent the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Erickson.

Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Erickson and daughter, Ethel, Mr. and Mrs. Cornell Erickson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Theo. Thompson and Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Erickson and children of Dorchester and Rev. and Mrs. W. L. Anderson and daughters enjoyed a picnic dinner at Perkinstown on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Orville Laabs and son and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Laabs returned on Monday from a four-day trip to Missouri.

Do not forget the chicken supper served by the Lutheran Ladies’ Aid at the Curtiss village hall on Saturday evening, Sept. 28th.

Gwendolyn Herrick, Kathryn Peterson, Elaine Jakel and Velores Krueger, students at Stevens Point Teachers College, spent the week-end at their homes here.
