Bandt, William Sr. #2 (12 Sept. 1858 - 10 Dec. 1942)

BANDT, WILLIAM SR. - Dies at Ripon, age 83, died at the Ripon Hospital Thurs, Dec 10, 1942.

Mr. Bandt had been a resident of Wisconsin all his life, and at present was making his home at Ripon. His wife, the former Minnie King, preceded him in death about four years ago; besides his wife, two children are deceased.

Those left to mourn his loss are three children: Mrs. Arthur Happe, Ripon; William Bandt, Jr., Chili; Rev Harvey Bandt of Brillion; eight grandchildren, and three great-grand children. There are also three brothers: Frank Bandt, Rudolph Bandt, and Fred J. Bandt, Coloma and one sister, Mrs. Charles Kuehn, of Ripon, and one half sister, Mrs. Marks of Neshkoro.

Funeral services were held in Coloma on Saturday at two o'clock at the Evangelical church. Rev. Dieckvoss, Ripon pastor officiated. A mixed quartet composed of Rev. W. R. Mechtle, Walter and Martha King and Minnie King, sang.

Pall bearers were Fred G. Bandt, Herman Bandt, Henry Bandt, Howard King, Clarence King and John King. Burial was made in Hillside cemetery, Coloma.
