Koch, Julius F. #2 (9 Nov. 1868 - 17 Apr. 1941)

Julius F. Koch, age 72, a resident of Unity since 1901, died at his home in Unity last Thursday evening after being ill for several years. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Koch home at 1:30 and at the Trinity Lutheran church at 2:00 o’clock, Rev. J. A. Olson officiating, and internment was made in the church cemetery.

Mr. Koch was born Nov. 9th, 1868, in Manitowoc county and practiced the cheesemaker’s trade at Two Rivers. In 1893 he went to McMillan where he operated a cheese factory. On May 22, 1888, he married Bertha Kloehn. Since 1901, he had made his home at Unity where he operated a feed store for five years and was a cheesemaker for seven years.

Surviving are three children, Mrs. Elmer Helstin, Mrs. Alfred Johnson and Milton Koch, all of Unity, Wis.
