Plombon, Lorraine (4 MAY 1940)

Miss Lorraine Plombon, daughter of Mrs. Mary Plombon of Stanley, and James Christensen of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), were united in marriage at a quiet service performed on Saturday of last week, May 4th, 1940.

The young people enjoyed a wedding dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Axel Lorentzen at Minneapolis, who son, John, was also united in marriage on Saturday.

The bride is a graduate of the Stanley High School and also a graduate of the Green Bay Business College at Green Bay. She has been working as bookkeeper in her mother’s store at Stanley prior to her marriage.

The groom is a prominent figure in the village of Withee and vicinity and has acquired many friends. He is manager of the Christensen Feed Store at Withee and was recently elected to his second term as a trustee on the village board of the village of Withee, Wis.

The newlyweds are living in Withee in a home owned by the groom. Their many friends sincerely wish them a long, happy wedded life.
