Miss Lenore Boss, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Boss of Abbotsford, Wis., and Walter Boss of Abbotsford, Wis., and Herbert Meyers, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Meyers of Curtiss, were united in marriage Saturday, April 25th, at the First Evangelical and Reformed church in Colby, Rev. S. A. Schmiechen reading the marriage ceremony. Miss Violet Boss, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and the bridesmaids were Miss Berneta Bahn of Milwaukee and Miss Audrey Schulte of Colby, Wis. The groom was attended by Bernard Tesmer as best man, Ernest Boss and Sylvester Tesmer.

The bride was attired in a floor length gown with white lace bodice and ninon skirt with fingertip veil. Her arm bouquet consisted of carnations and roses. The maid of honor wore a dress of aqua ninon with lace trim and her colonial bouquet consisted of mixed flowers. Miss Bahn wore a pale pink ninon dress, both the same style as the maid of honor and both had colonial bouquets of mixed flowers.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, the home being nicely decorated with streamers of white, aqua, pink and yellow and a three tier wedding cake.

In the evening a wedding dance was given at the Wiedenhoeft pavilion which was largely attended by friends and relatives.

The young couple will make their home with the groom’s parents where the groom is engaged in farming.

The groom is a graduate of the Colby, Wis. High School and also attended the University of Wisconsin, where he took a short course at the Agricultural College. The bride is a graduate of the Abbotsford, Wis. High School and attended a beauty culture school in Milwaukee.
