Breseman, Louise Pauline (29 Nov. 1859 - 29 Jan. 1943)
Mrs. Martin Breseman, aged 83, years, two months and one day, passed away Jan. 29, at 4:20 a.m. at her home in Lynn Township, after a two weeks illness.
Mrs. Breseman was born in Germany Nov. 29, 1859, to Mr. and Mrs. Gottlieb Wischuelke, her given name being Louise Pauline. When she was five years of age, she came to America with her parents.
The departed was united in marriage to Martin Philip Breseman, March 29, 1883, who preceded her in death in 1933. To this union four children were born, namely: John, Edward, Walter, and Rudolph, the later passing away in infancy. Surviving are the three sons, a brother, martin Wischuelke, one grandchild, Hazel Breseman. Four sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
Being a pioneer of the town of Lynn, where she made her home for 78 years, she saw the country grow from its infancy, doing her part in converting Clark County into a productive farming community.
Funeral services were held at the Gilbertson Funeral Home at Granton on Monday afternoon, the Rev. G. W. Longenecker, Neillsville, officiating. Interment was made in the town of Lynn Cemetery.
The sons, Walter, Ed and John Breseman, and three nephews, Louie, Oscar and Fred Breseman, acted as pallbearers. Arleene and Marian Breseman carried the flowers.
In attendance at the funeral from distant points were: Mrs. Lee Seyers and Mrs. Ida Lehman, Altoona, and Mrs. William Prust, Marshfield.
