Westberg, Orville (26 Oct. 1915 - 6 Nov. 2007)

Orville Westberg, 92, Marshfield, formerly of the Colby area, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, at Three Oaks in Marshfield.

Memorial services were held Nov. 9 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Unity, Wis. Internment was in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Unity with Reverend Dale Wilford presided.

Orville was born Oct. 26, 1915, in Unity to Andrew and Annie (Williamson) Westberg.

He attended Colby area schools and married Clara (Ludwig) on December 29, 1941, in Yuma, AZ.

Orville farmed most of his life in the Colby area and worked for Modern Equipment, Weyerhaeuser and Berg Equipment.

Orville and Clara moved to Florida for 15 years and moved back to Spencer, then to Angelus in Marshfield, and then Three Oaks.

He is survived by his wife Clara, Three Oaks; his children, Eldon (Kay) Westberg, Phillips, Larry (Carol) Westberg, Milton, Randy (Dana) Westberg, Green Bay and Rick (Myra) Westberg, Unity; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Delores Bruezewitz, Marshfield and one brother Harold, Oregon.

Orville was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Erland.

Memorials would appreciated given to the family and a memorial will be designated at a later date.
