Epding, Minnie (27 March 1860 - 1 June 1943)

Funeral services for Mrs. John Epding, Sr., will be held at the Evangelical and Reformed church, Neillsville, at one p.m., the Rev. N. J. Dechant officiating.

Mrs. Epding, who was 83 years of age, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Arthur Epp, where she had been making her home since October.

Interment will be made beside her husband in the Neillsville Cemetery.

Mrs. Minnie Epding, 83 years of age, passed away June 1 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Arthur Epp of Genoa City, where she had been making her home since last October.

The deceased was born in Germany, March 27, 1860, to Mr. and Mrs. Schnitzer. Four years after her birth, she came to this country with her parents. In 1884 she was united in marriage to John Epding, and for ten years was a resident of Clark County. To this marriage were born four children, Mrs. Art Epp (Anna) of Genoa City, Otto of Chicago, Alfred of Chicago, and John of Neillsville, Wis.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday morning from the Smith Chapel, Genoa City, followed by services at the Evangelical and Reformed Church of this city on Thursday afternoon. The Rev. N. J. Dechant was the officiating clergyman at the local services. Those from away who were in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. Art Epp, Genoa City, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Epding, Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Epding, Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Shramek, Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Rap Epp, Chicago.
