Schulz, Beulah Ora (7 June 1887 - 12 Feb. 1943)
Mrs. Charles G. Schulz, whose maiden name was Beulah Ora Young, passed away at her home Friday morning, Feb. 12, at 1:00 A.M., after being ill with paralysis for over five years. Funeral services were in charge of the Lady Grey Rebekah Lodge at the Lulloff Funeral Home and in the Methodist church in Colby Monday afternoon, Rev. Riley officiating, and internment was made in the Colby cemetery. Pall bearers were members of the Odd Fellows Lodge of which Mr. Schulz is noble grand. They were Carl Holtzhausen, John Johnson, Earl Salter, Jim Colby, Charles Creed and John Vaughn. Members of the Lady Grey Rebekah Lodge had charge of the flowers.
The deceased was born June 7th, 1887, in the town of Hull, thus reaching the age of 55 years, eight months and five days. She was married at Colby on May 12, 1906, to Charles G. Schulz. Except for two years in Minneapolis, her entire life was spent at Colby, Wis. A faithful church member of the Methodist church, always interested in activities of the church and community. She was a member of the Ladies Aid, Rebekah Lodge No. 47, a former member of the W.R.C. and R.N.A. and clerk of the Little Grove school board for twelve years.
She is survived by her husband, Charles, a daughter, Erma Romanik, a son, Edward, and grand daughter, Margaret, all of Milwaukee. Also two sisters and two brothers - Etta Mae Grimes of Milwaukee, Rena Peterson of Colville, Wash., Wallace Young of Bay View, Idaho, and Adelbert Young of Green Bay.
Out of town people here for the funeral were J. Adelbert Young of Green Bay, Mrs. Fred Schultz of Kansas City, Mo., Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wicker and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wicker of Stratford, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Meyers of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Romanik and daughter, Margaret, and Edward Schulz of Milwaukee.
