Neumann, James (4 Feb. 1931 - 6 Mar. 1943)

James Neumann, 12 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Neumann, died at two o’clock Saturday morning at the Wisconsin General Hospital at Madison, where he was a patient the past seven weeks, a brain tumor being the cause of his death. He had also been a patient there several times since becoming ill last September. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at the Neumann home and at 2:00 o’clock at St. John Lutheran church at Riplinger. Rev. Gerhardt Reiff of Marshfield officiated and internment was made at Riplinger. Pall bearers were Orville Domer, Myron Ewert, Marvin Domer, Raymond Orth, Myron Orth, John Martins. Those in charge of the flowers were Ruby Justman, Lavonn Domer, Darlene Molle, Mardell Neuman, Dolores Martins, Elaine Domer.

James was born in Green Grove on Feb. 4th, 1931, and attended district rural school. He is survived by his parents and by one brother, Donald.
