Miss Ida Beyerl of Marshfield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Beyerl of Colby, and Corporal Ray C. Draxler of Marshfield, son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Draxler of Marshfield, were united in marriage Tuesday morning, May 19th, at 9:00 A.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic church in Colby, Rev. L. J. Lang officiating. Marie Beyerl, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and the groom was attended by Jim Beyerl, the bride’s brother.

The bride was attired in a becoming gown of white satin bodice and chiffon skirt and train with three-quarter length veil. Her bouquet consisted of yellow roses and white carnations. A reception for the immediate families was given at the home of the bride’s parents, the home being nicely decorated in red, white and blue for the occasion.

The newlyweds will make a wedding trip to Fort Sill, Oklahoma, where the groom is stationed with the U.S. army.
