Curtiss - July 22, 1943

Arvid Hermanson, with the U.S. Navy in the S.S. Wolverine, spent the week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Hermanson, and wife and infant son at LeGault hospital, Owen, Wis.

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Laabs left on Monday for Camp Farragut, Idaho where he will report for naval duty after a three weeks’ furlough at home.

Roy Ostenson of the U.S. Signal Corps left Friday morning for Miami, Fla., to continue his training after spending a few days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Ostenson.

Misses Wanda and Juanita Buss of Chicago spent several days this week with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Buss.

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Fahrenbach and daughter returned to their home in Chicago after a two weeks vacation.

Aviation Cadet Andor Kraut, who spent the past week here on a furlough, left on Wednesday for Miami, Fla., to begin his training. His brother, Carlton Kraut, of Ft. Benning, Ga., visited relatives here at the same time.

Mrs. Ned Bartell and daughter, Barbara, returned to their home in Milwaukee after having spent several weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Stockmeyer.
